We are delighted to be returning once again to the FAMES STUDIO for an intensive
hands-on guide to working in one of the worlds busiest orchestral studios. 

Course Details

And Other Duties, in collaboration with the award-winning Fame’s recording studio in
Skopje, North Macedonia, is offering 6 days of in-depth studio experience. With
orchestral podium time every day and a professional recording at the end of the
project, you will conduct your own short film scores with the Fame’s Institute
orchestra, under the guidance of AOD course leaders Tim Redmond and Alastair
King (orchestrator and conductor for Downton Abbey & Harry Potter etc.). You will be
involved in every aspect of studio life during your week with us, learning about
conducting to click, working with a producer, the process of recording a film score,
and much, much more.

This course offers a unique opportunity to rehearse and record brand new orchestral
film scores by composers from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam in a studio that
annually produces hundreds of soundtracks for Hollywood movies, Netflix
blockbusters and celebrated video games, to name but a few.

Places are extremely limited and early application is very strongly recommended.
